About The Author
Alexander M. Gelman, born July 16, 1952, is a distinguished attorney, mediator, and educator with a rich background in law and teaching. A passionate sailor and fine wine collector, he has held prominent roles in yacht clubs and participated in international sailboat races. Married to Peggy for nearly 45 years, Gelman explores profound questions of life through his writing. His works include Life in Greenbean County and The Pacifica Doctrine, with upcoming books on children’s stories and poetry. The Prophet of the “L” Line, the Return of the Prophet of the “L” Line, The Trial of Ilych Boyarsky, and Protocol 17 and Pacifica Doctrine.

Author Alex Gelman is the next Robert Ludlum! His book "Protocol 17" captures your attention in the first few pages and draws the reader into a world of political and mafia intrigue. An international bombing incident results in Frank Forbes, an attorney, being appointed to represent one of the men accused of the bombing. It turns out that the man works for a criminal well known to the CIA and FBI. This evolves into a game of cat and mouse between an international mafia cartel boss La Rata and Frank Forbes. The story will have you on the edge of your seat as Frank Forbes and his family are targeted and chased by La Rata, running for their lives and surrounded by danger. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and highly recommend it. I hope to see more stories authored by Mr. Gelman
